Actually – no. But we’re getting closer. In 2007, Oregon became the 27th state to require health-insurance plans that provide prescription drug benefits to cover birth control.
Sad but true. In about half the states (23), insurance companies are not required to cover birth control the way they cover other prescription drugs.
